1. Overview
SolEZGate is a decentralized content gating platform on the Solana blockchain. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about the data we handle. This policy explains what information SolEZGate collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
2. Information We Collect
SolEZGate collects minimal information necessary to operate the platform:
- Wallet Address: Your Solana wallet public address, used for authentication, payment verification, and content access control. We never have access to your private keys.
- Gate Metadata: Titles, descriptions, prices, and content type information provided by creators when setting up content gates.
- Transaction Records: On-chain transaction signatures, payment amounts, and timestamps used to verify purchases and manage access.
- Uploaded Files: Files uploaded by creators are encrypted client-side before storage. SolEZGate stores envelope-encrypted keys but never has access to plaintext file content.
3. Blockchain Data
SolEZGate operates on the Solana blockchain. All payment transactions are public, permanent, and immutable records on the blockchain. This includes wallet addresses, transaction amounts, and on-chain memos. SolEZGate cannot delete, modify, or hide blockchain data. By using SolEZGate, you acknowledge that your wallet address and transaction history are publicly visible on the Solana blockchain.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Verifying wallet ownership through cryptographic signatures
- Processing and verifying on-chain payments for content access
- Providing creators with analytics on their gates (unlock counts, earnings)
- Enforcing compliance measures (OFAC sanctions screening, transaction limits)
- Delivering encrypted content to authorized buyers
- Preventing abuse through rate limiting
5. Third-Party Services
SolEZGate uses the following third-party services:
- Cloudflare: Hosting, CDN, and database services (Workers, D1). Subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Solana Blockchain: All transactions are processed on the Solana network. Transaction data is public and permanent.
- Arweave: Permanent decentralized storage for encrypted files. Encrypted data stored on Arweave is permanent and cannot be deleted, but is unreadable without the encryption key controlled by SolEZGate.
- Helius: Solana RPC and NFT indexing services for wallet verification and discount eligibility checks.
6. Cookies & Local Storage
SolEZGate does not use tracking cookies. The web application may use browser local storage to cache wallet connection state for convenience. The mobile application uses device-local storage (AsyncStorage) for wallet persistence and app preferences. No data is shared with advertising networks or analytics platforms beyond basic Cloudflare analytics.
7. Data Retention
- Gate metadata and unlock records are retained in our database for as long as the platform operates, to maintain purchase history and content access.
- Encrypted files on Arweave are permanent by design. Creators can request “deletion” by destroying the encryption key, rendering the encrypted data permanently unreadable.
- Blockchain transactions are immutable and permanent. They cannot be deleted by anyone, including SolEZGate.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access information associated with your wallet address through the platform
- Request deletion of off-chain data (gate metadata, unlock records) where technically feasible
- Disconnect your wallet at any time, stopping all authenticated interactions
- Use the platform without providing any personal information beyond your wallet address
Note: On-chain data and permanently stored encrypted files cannot be deleted due to the nature of blockchain and decentralized storage technology.
9. Data Security
SolEZGate employs multiple layers of security: wallet signature authentication (Ed25519), AES-256-GCM file encryption, envelope encryption for key management, short-lived HMAC download tokens, OFAC sanctions screening, and rate limiting on all endpoints. All data in transit is protected by HTTPS/TLS.
10. Children's Privacy
SolEZGate is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. Use of cryptocurrency wallets and blockchain transactions requires users to be of legal age in their jurisdiction.
11. Changes to This Policy
SolEZGate may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
